In March, I was invited to illustrate live portraits of guests at an Hg corporate networking event for Executive Assistants. Guests walked away with a custom hand-painted watercolour portrait showing off their personality and identity.
The event started with a short introduction followed by some speed networking, with delicious food and drink to enjoy at The Last Talisman in Bermondsey, London. To encourage connections, guests could enjoy having a live portrait painted, as well as watching a magician performing fun tricks. Let’s be honest, networking can feel really awkward at first so my live portraits were a great icebreaker and conversation starter.
The live portraits I painted in watercolour were really popular and I had some great feedback from my client :
