As a wedding guest illustrator, I create joyful and stylish watercolour paintings at celebrations in Berkshire, London, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, and beyond.
My bespoke portraits take around 5-10 minutes each, making this a vibrant, interactive wedding entertainment option for guests to enjoy during the drinks reception and into the evening.

I’m a professional illustrator with more than 15 years of creative industry experience, and I’ve been painting live portraits at weddings, celebrations, and events since 2023.
I love chatting with guests while they pose for paintings or watch me work. There’s nothing like seeing the excitement on guests’ faces when they see their portraits, and it’s such a pleasure to know they’ll take them home and treasure them forever.

I offer three guest portrait packages to suit the number of guests and the number of hours you’d like me to paint for. I offer Silver, Gold, or Platinum packages for up to six hours and 60 guests. My minimum booking is for four hours, meaning I can capture 40 guests.

How Live Illustration Works
As a highly experienced wedding painter, I’ve fine-tuned my services into five simple steps, so you can enjoy all the magic of live illustrations without worrying about any of the logistics.
Step 1
I arrive at your venue 30 minutes before your start time to set up. Ideally, the venue will provide a table and chair, but I can bring my own table or easel if needed.
Step 2
Once set up, I get to work painting your guests’ portraits. Typically, I can paint around ten guests per hour (or five couples).
Step 3
Once the paintings are dry, I package them in biodegradable cellophane bags to protect them when guests take them home.
Step 4
At the end of my painting session, I pack up my kit and leave out any uncollected portraits.
Step 5
After your wedding day, I work on your happy couple portrait in my studio, along with any extra portraits you’ve requested.

Frequently Asked Questions About My Live Wedding Painter Services

I'll need enough space for a table and chair. A 6ft table is ideal, but I can work from a smaller table if required. I can work with your venue to find a convenient space to set up, so you won’t have to worry about the logistics on your big day.

I offer three packages to suit different numbers of guests and how long you’d like me to paint for. No matter which package you choose, the following is all included:
A6 or A5 watercolour portraits of as many of the guests as possible in the time frame
Materials and packaging for each original artwork
The original illustrations being given as gifts to your guests
30 minutes set up/take down time at the venue*
Please note that I only paint guest portraits on the day, and ceremony portraits aren’t part of my wedding packages. I do paint a happy couple portrait, but this happens in my studio using photo references from your wedding day.

I'm based in Reading, Berkshire, and travel within one hour of Reading is included in my prices. I’m happy to travel to surrounding areas (Berkshire, London, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, and Wiltshire) at an additional cost of £0.50 per mile.
