Flow and Flourish Autumn Retreat
Join us for a creative and rejuvenating full day retreat at The Garden Museum, in The Museum of Farnham.
Discover the joy of creating art while surrounded by like-minded individuals in a serene and inspiring setting.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of watercolour painting and calligraphy at this in-person event which is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike.
The retreat will be hosted by Helen Ridley Illustration and Jodie Rose Calligraphy, with a guest Mindful Breathing workshop hosted by Breath Coach, Sharon Swyer.
Helen will be teaching an Autumnal Florals Watercolour Workshop, which will explore colour mixing, shape and form studies, to give you confidence to create loose and expressive florals.
You will be working from fresh floral arrangements of seasonal flowers arranged by Helen.
Jodie will host a wonderfully Mindful Modern Calligraphy Workshop which will guide you through techniques to create modern calligraphy.
The day will finish with a Mindful Breathing Workshop from guest host Sharon Swyer Breathe. She will give you the tools to explore breathing exercises to ground and relax you at the end of a serene and inspiring day.
You will receive a goody bag with all the materials you need for each workshop, as well as a welcome drink, a delicious buffet lunch and hot drinks throughout the day.

Tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer your place to another person if you're no longer able to make it (please let us know before the event if you do this).
You can choose to purchase a full price ticket today, or a 50% deposit. If you select the deposit option you will be sent a link to pay the remaining amount in 1 month.

About The Venue
The Garden Gallery at the Museum of Farnham
Our beautiful venue is located at The Farnham Museum and is surrounded by beautiful walled gardens, which we will have exclusive access to on the day.
The venue is situated in the centre of Farnham and free parking is available nearby at The Hart car park.
It is also only a 15-minute walk from Farnham train station.
The building is fully wheelchair accessible.

About Your Hosts
Helen Ridley Illustration
Helen Ridley is a live illustrator and watercolour artist based in Berkshire.
She creates hand painted illustrations and artwork for weddings, events, brands and bespoke portraits.
She also hosts mindful watercolour and illustration workshops to create community and connection, whilst encouraging creativity.
Jodie Rose Calligraphy
Jodie Rose is a calligrapher based in Hampshire, with over 7 years experience in modern calligraphy - special event stationery, signage, live calligraphy and teaching workshops.

You just need a love for art and creativity!

No, you just need to bring yourself!
Your personalised goody bag will contain all the art materials you need, and food and drinks will be provided throughout the day, and are included in the price.
We woud recommend wearing clothes that aren’t precious to you as you’ll be using paint and ink. And bring glasses if you wear them.
