What Is Live Event Illustration?
Live illustration for events is where you invite a live portrait artist (like me!) to attend your event and capture your guests live, in the moment.
Using watercolours, pens and markers, I capture your guests in just 5-10 minutes whilst they wait.
They then get an A5 portrait to take home and keep as a memento of your event. They can display it in pride of place in their home and keep it as a constant reminder of your wonderful event where you made them feel really special.

I can create portraits of individuals in around 5 minutes, and couples in 10 minutes. So around 6 - 10 portraits per hour.

Yes, you can choose to have a branded sticker or stamp for your brand. Or I can use branded paper with your brand details printed on them. Please ensure paper supplied is 300gsm.

My rates usually include travel within 1 hour of Reading, Berkshire where I’m based. But yes, I’m happy to travel all over the UK if I have time in my schedule. Additional travel and accommodation costs may apply.

Yes, all of my portraits will be created on the day of your event, and packed safely in a cellophane bag to protect them for their journey home.

Yes, I take photos for reference to work from on the day, so this means guests can continue to mingle and enjoy the event. However, I can also paint portraits live on the spot if this is a better fit for your event.
