A Winter Wedding Photoshoot In The Cotswolds

A couple of weeks ago I was invited by Claire at Lux Design Co to take part in a styled wedding photoshoot at Merriscourt in the Cotswolds.

The shoot was organised by Claire as the florist and stylist, and Nicola Belson as the photographer.

I was there to capture illustrations of model Clover Skerry in beautiful bridal wear by Queen Bee Bridal with her hair and make up done by Rachael Capocci, and wearing bespoke jewellery by Fable and Fabled. I also illustrated the beautiful floral arrangements by Lux Design Co. My illustrations capture their bespoke floristry arrangements and are a special way to record the experience.

There was also a calligrapher involved with the collaboration and this was by Emma Cox at Kind Lettering

It was so much fun to be part of the shoot, and to explore the beautiful venue. All the wedding suppliers working that day were so welcoming and it was really inspiring to see them all at work. It was a beautiful collaboration and a really interesting and unique way to create artwork.

Below are a selection of photos from the shoot capturing the beautiful wedding dress and fashion style as well as the watercolour illustrations I painted on the day. The red and white colour palette complimented each other well and the whole experience was really enjoyable and unique.

If you would like a live illustrator for your event, please get in touch.
